TweetMyPC offers remote PC control

Turning Twitter feeds right around.

Much as we're wary of Twitter feeds (they're inherently evil thanks to a word limit [which are a journalist's worst nightmare] on each post), when something comes along to take good advantage of the system then our ears prick up.

Such a thing has come along in the form of TweetMyPC (no, it's not a joke), Twittering software for the twats out there who want to set up a relatively simple remote control for their PC.

A simple Twitter account setup for your PC and the software is all you need, setting up the software on the host PC to check the feed (a rate of once a minute is the default).

Commands as of now are pretty limited with only "Shutdown", "Restart" and "Logoff" - all of which are case sensitive - but we can definitely see other commands being installed down the road.

Who knows, there might eventually be "Defrag", "Pwn Noobs" or "Make me a Martini" commands added!

Post below with commands you'd like to see included, and wander over to the TweetMyPC site for a gander.
