AMD and Intel duke it out in the video stream

Two rivals put their marketing teams to the test and focus on what they think will be the winning stroke.

In the war between the two CPU giants AMD and Intel there have been some pretty dodgy practices as well as some good ideas  - this one is the latter.

They've both bumped marketing teams against each other, coming up with two specific angles that each hope will prove to you they're the best choice.

Intel have run with a pretty amusing concept in that they've got the "smallest processor" - so small that they even pretend to lose it.

AMD however is taking a more exciting path: they're showing off overclocking prowess, 3DMark records and just how extreme they can be.

I think that with such a good marketing department, AMDn could have made a better add.

But I thought that Intel's add was pretentious.

Intels ad - better as an "Ad"
AMD's ad - great vid - but for a tv style ad, it's crap....

Still - once i sell my q6600+P5E i am getting the Phenom 955 and the DDR2 gigabyte UD5P board
