Friday Afternoon Game: What better way to learn to build bridges than a bridge building game!

First off, apologies for the lateness of this post (more like Friday Night Game), but since I've StarCraft installing it's a good excuse to throw it up - this one is addictive.

Last week's Friday Afternoon was a timelapse vid of Watchmen being spraypainted onto a wall, and the last game we threw up was Effing Hail, but this one is something a little more cerebral.

In what is essentially a bridge-building simulator, you have a set budget for resources and two distinct materials for building.

Set buildpoints are around to use as the framework and a guide, but it's down to your ingenuity and smart design to not only get a working bridge, but get it done in your ever-decreasing budget.

Not all is bad if your bridge fails however; you get treated to a man screaming to his death and a simple redesign of the bridge can help fine-tune until you've completed it.

It's addictive and fun, and the name Cargo Bridge is pretty literal, so give it a go and get mesmerised by the bright colours

Fuck this game. :\

I got to level 2, they're all finishing the second platoon of boxes and on the second guy, it breaks. I'm like...WTF?

eh I gave up after level 3 because your wooden things don't hold each other together and end up falling down the hole regardless of what you do.

That was my first attempt, worked straight off. I guess it does help that I'm an engineer, albeit a n00b one. :P

It's kinda silly, as soon as you get the steel walkways the game becomes too easy. So I used wood instead =P
