ATI's Catalyst 9.5 drivers released

The latest Catalyst drivers are made official by AMD.

After already having spent a few days floating around the web, AMD has decided to make it official and announce that its new ATI Catalyst 9.5 drivers are, indeed, out.

Reading through the release notes, there doesn't seem to be much new at all, except for Catalyst 9.5 finally delivering 64-bit support for ATI Avivo under Windows Vista.

For Linux users, ATI Catalyst 9.5 offers nothing new, but the firm promises to have "a host of fixes" in next month's update.

AMD is also saying gamers should notice a 10 per cent performance boost on games like Company of Heroes and BattleForge.
