Video: Is awesomely cool power armour enough to make GI Joe a good film?
You know, I just don't know what to think of the new GI Joe trailer, or the film itself for that matter.
On the one hand, you've got an evil Chris Eccleston, a femme fatale in some kind of combat corset, lots of explosions (Mr Somers? Michael Bay would like his effects team back), the French getting upset and some awesomely cool power armour. Not enough films have awesomely cool power armour, and until either a Halo or Warhammer 40k film comes along, there can never be enough awesomely cool power armour.
On the other hand... it's a film based on a toy franchise. Buzz kill.
Anyway... you be the judge.
