As if playing as the Batman wasn't enough to get fans excited about the moody looking Batman: Arkham Asylum, it's recently been announced that those looking for an even darker outlet for their brawling angst can play as the infamous Joker.

Old laughs-a-lot has a lot of... unique fighting moves, revolving around all kinds of deadly practical jokes and grim finishing moves. And a sharp suit.

Sadly, though, the Joker content will only be available as a day one patch on the PS3. If you're a PC or Xbox fan, you're plum out of luck - in fact, you might say the joke's on you...
