Tonight is the annual IT Journalist Awards. Big night. Real big night. All the boys will be wearing their suits and looking hot. Smouldering.
Atomic is a finalist in just about every category we're eligible for. Other AJB titles are and writers are featuring prominently too. That we have made the finalists is accomplishment enough, there were many more nominees from other publishing companies which didn't make the cut.
We're all buzzing. Last year Atomic missed out on Best Mag by a mere 2 votes out of 300. Naturally, we're walking in with no expectations, but high hopes.
Wish us luck guys, because if we win, it's because you set us such high standards.
*note. the bold indicated AJB staff or title.
Double note. just in case you were wondering, oddly, there is no 'Best Editor' category....
