Video: Learn about what makes an Italian assassin tick from the developers who created him.
The devs at Ubisoft Montreal have been pretty upfront about where the first Assassin's Creed kinda fell down, and have so far promised that Assassin's Creed 2 will be better in all respects. We saw some live gameplay at Ubisoft's offices late last week, and we're certainly thinking the devs are being straight up.
The free-running looks to be both a lot more fluid while, at the same time, a lot more interactive. Think inFamous on PS3, and you're probably not far wrong. There's a lot more weapons to get to grips with, too, as well as groovy ways to cause mayhem with them.
And there's flying machines, thanks to a certain Italian inventor...
Sadly, our time was pretty limited, but this new dev diary shows a few glimpses of the game, while also explaining the new assassin's background.
Hmm... pointy stabby death. Assassin's Creed 2 will be released this November on all major platforms.
