New Wolfenstein release and comp dates

As Wolfenstein's PC release date shifts, so does the date for our exclusive Wolfenstein comp...

When we offered you the chance to play Wolfenstein at Atomic headquarters we weren't kidding, but in the short time since the announcement there have been a few details that have changed.

It's still going to be a LAN, and those who have already entered are still in the running to win, but thanks to a statement released by Activision we've received news about the game's final launch date:

In order to facilitate a simultaneous global release window for id Software's Wolfenstein, Activision has realigned the game's release date for August 19th.

While this doesn't mean that you won't get to play it at all, it does mean that the new event date is the 19th of August. Which is actually pretty cool, as this will make you guys amongst the first in the world to play this on PC!

Winners of the comp will be notified of their win and their availability for the revised date confirmed, so hopefully we can still nab as many Atomicans as possible for the launch.

In case you missed the link elsewhere on the site, jump over to the comp page to enter!
