Video: See what it takes to live a life of crime in Mafia II in this HUGE 15 minute trailer!
Mafia II is looking hot - and kinda cold, at the same time, according to this new video walkthrough that's only just made its way from the floor of E3 to our video player.
Mafia II's getting more than a few gamers excited, and not just because The Godfather 2 really failed to deliver on the gangster action. It's got a solid looking engine, an intriguing story, and it builds on a strong lineage. In this walkthrough, we get to see all those strengths, and a healthy dose of the game's setting, and some firey action.
Denby Grace, one of the game's producers, talks us through the early portion of the game, from explaining the snowy setting and what it means to the main character's story arc, to introducing the large open world you'll doing your gangstering in.
Most impressively, though, the video's a whopping 15 minutes of in-game footage, covering driving on icy roads and a tense gunbattle that leads from the streets into a soon ablaze distillery. And it's all looking so. damn. good.
Mafia II will be gracing all major platforms sometime early next year. That's going to be a loooong wait.
