Drake! We are LEAVING (to go watch this awesome AvP trailer)!

Is there anything better than the hi-tech badassery that is the Colonial Marine Corps? From spaceships like the Sulaco, to the Cheyanne dropship, all the way down to what is possibly the coolest sci-fi firearm ever invented - the M41A Pulse Rifle. Sega's new Alien Vs Predator presents even more cool hardware to play with, and, according to this new Marine-centric trailer, a host of ways for a poor Marine to die.

The gameplay footage we're treated to is certainly worth getting excited over. You've got all the gritty coolness of the Corps, the great weapons (including sentry-guns!), the sinuous and agile Aliens coming out of the Goddamn walls, and a nasty surprise for the lone survivor at the end.

In the last portion, keep an eye out for the PoV shot of the Marine holding off an Alien with his bare hands - brave stuff!

I love the Corps! (but not Predators)

Aliens Vs Predator will be out... some time. It's kinda vague at the moment, but it will be on all major platforms.

I loved the first 2 AvP games. Marines were a blast with the "Blip-blip" of motion sensor and then "GAAAHHHHH!!!!!" as you hear the screeching call of the Aliens and they burst out of grates and drop from the roof to devour your face.

Been too long between games and this looks brilliant.

sweet! i remember many a lan event playing the alien runner in avp2, the 3 team aspect really adds to thrill of running around pouncing on people... you're never assured safety, which means that after a round of this your bound to have the adrenaline flowing...

CounterStrike may be more popular, but this is where the fun is :D

AvP2 LAN story: my glitchy GeForce"4" MX440 caused the game to run at approximately 1.5x speed, but only on my machine and I wasn't the host. Which meant that my Runner was stupidly fast and my PredAlien could literally pounce pretty much the length of the map.

Really should play AvP2 in SP, but I'm a big scaredy cat.

The first two were so atmospheric and scary. On the marine campaign I would have to stop every hour or so to let my heart rate drop to more normal levels....
...Then I played multiplayer as the Alien and scared teh crap out of other people!
Oooooh I can't wait.

AvP2 was such an awesome experience - those first few levels of the marine campaign, the ending of that campaign... magic gaming moments :)

F-ing predator. Such cheap bastards, with their disk. Also never play against chuck norris (good actor when his video card dies. He is OP as a marine.

It's looks good..hope it lives up to the hype. And yay for bringing in the sentry guns..it was dumb for normal cut of the Aliens movie to exclude this..gotta watch the directors version to enjoy their auto blasting fun!
