Futurama coming back with original cast!

Hooray for fans everywhere.

Futurama is perhaps one of the most popular cartoons for sci-fi fans; not for its accurate portrayal of space-age life but rather for its clever writing and funny characters.

It's received a reboot in the past year in the form of a few movies, and the previous four seasons were seemingly the end of the show, but word arose about the show coming back - initially without the original cast.

While it seems a pretty simple thing to get them back (and arguably the show wouldn't be anywhere near as good without them), a casting call was actually released by Fox for replacements!

Luckily the crushing weight of screaming fanboys has convinced Fox to get the original cast back with a higher budget (and the cast taking a smaller wage to accomodate the fans), bringing the show back for an extra 26 episodes.
