Peter Jackson's next project is a murder mystery thriller. But, being Peter Jackson, it's not just any murder mystery, but one about a girl who finds that the afterlife is very much what you make of it, a fantasy world that you can shape to your wildest fancy.
And with Jackson at the helm, those fancies can be pretty wild!
You can watch the already rather beautiful trailer here, but we've just gotten hold of a new featurette that offers a glimpse behind the scenes, along with interviews with the cast and crew. PJ himself has a few words, along with writing collaborator Phillipa Boyen, as well as the all the main leads from the film.
Every time we see a new bit of footage of this magical epic, we get a little more desperate to see the final product...
The Lovely Bones will be in theatres this Boxing Day.
