Video: The Ballad of Gay Tony shapes up to be a happy romp.

The Ballad of Gay Tony is the latest installment into Rockstar's world of Grand Theft Auto, being billed as an expansion pack to the fourth game as opposed to an entirely new game.

It can be downloaded through Xbox Live or bought on-disc with the other expansion pack (The Lost and the Damned), but frustratingly is not going to make an appearance on PC (though with the performance issues we had, that's probably a good thing!).

Based around Gay Tony's nightclub, you play Luiz Lopez who aids his boss in reinstating the nightclub as a respectable establishment in the town, and struggle with the competing mobs and forces in the city.

It's got some pretty interesting ideas backing it, and will supposedly come in at US$20, so check out the trailer below.
