Get a ringside seat at a new live show and webcast event, featuring some of Sydney's best tech and gaming journos.
Byteside, launching on Tuesday the 15th of September, is a new media venture by Atomic's founder Ben Mansill, and regular Engine Room contributor Seamus Byrne. It's a live panel event (think The Gruen Transfer, but about tech and games), where the industries best and brightest come together to debate, discuss and lambast the big events and news of the day.
And maybe drink a few beers. It is at the Shelbourne Hotel after all!
If you want to get into the event, head over to Byteside's website and RSVP. Places are limited, so hurry - and, if you want to win one of two VIP passes (which will give you $30 worth of free drinks at the bar - score!), register for the Byteside newsletter and select 'Atomic' under the question 'Where did you hear about Byteside?'
And who's going to be on the first night? There'll be two shows, one focusing on tech and hardware, with Nick Broughall (Editor, Gizmodo Australia), Zara Baxter (Deputy Editor, PC Authority), Matthew Powell (Editor, MacTheMag), and Nick Ross (Publisher, The Overclocker). The second show is all about gaming, and the guests for that one are Jeremy Ray (Junglist, Good Game), David Hollingworth (Editor, Atomic - me!), Daniel Wilks (Editor, Hyper), and David Wildgoose (Editor, Kotaku Australia).
It's going to be a great night, and it'd be marvelous to see some Atomican faces in the crowd. Don't worry if you miss it, though, as the show will be filmed live and re-broadcast on the web.
