Xbox 360 gets Modern Warfare 2 edition

Plus a 250GB hard drive for more porn - we mean save games and content - than ever before!

There's a mess of reasons to be excited about the upcoming release of Modern Warfare 2, even beyond the fact that this could be the FPS of the year. The latest reason to get excited is the announcement of a special 'Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Console' pack that'll be released on November 10.

The pack includes a sweetly designed MW2 themed 360, a massive 250GB hard drive, two wireless controllers, a headset and the standard edition of the game. The whole pack will retail for $599, which isn't a bad price for all that gear.

"(The) fans deserve the biggest Xbox 360 console ever," said Adam Pollington, Xbox 360 Category Manager for Australia & New Zealand, "and we're delivering with more storage space than ever before and freedom to enjoy all their favourite games and downloadable Game Add-ons, including the first two Modern Warfare 2 maps that will be available first on Xbox LIVE."

thesorehead Sep 17, 2009 12:51 PM	Is it just me or has X360 come out in more colours and styles than any Nintendo console? I am disappoint that after all the marketing pics you still can't get a lime-green Wii, or at least colourful Wii-motes. 250GB HDD + 2 controllers FTW though. Here's hoping this is a hint at an Elite package upgrade.
Krispy89 Sep 17, 2009 1:24 PM	Oh, if only I hadn't pre-ordered MW2, have a RRoD Xbox 360 and $600 to spend. I think it's a shame that they don't bundle in the Prestige Edition of MW2. Makes the consumer feel short changed to me.
