We know that the average Atomican overclocks pretty much everything they get their hands on. PCs, toasters, the neighbour's cat... there's nothing that can't be made faster and sexier by the addition of a little Ln^2.

nesquick Nov 7, 2009 1:45 PM	well no it would promote tweaking in the ram timings and sub voltages more so, any idiot can pump a shit load of vcore into a CPU and raise the baseclock/FSB, theres no skill in that.
.:Cyb3rGlitch:. Nov 7, 2009 2:12 PM	True, but a stock cooler will limit the extent of the overclock. It'd be a better idea to put limits on the maximum voltages, e.g. 1.4v max on the vcore. That way people have to know what they're doing, rather than throwing everything really high and hope for the best. There should also be a temperature cut-off at 80c under load.
