Your one stop shop for everything Halo goes live, along with the first of new Halo animated series.

Listen up, Marines. The Halo Waypoint has just gone live today, so if you want to follow all the news of the UNSC's brave fight against the fiendish Convenant threat, you know where to go!

We just got in the official word from command, and here's what you need to know:

Following a successful preview period, Halo Waypoint is now available for "Halo" fans worldwide bringing all the richness of the "Halo" universe together in one place. Halo Waypoint features daily updates of new, exciting content such as developer interviews, trailers and screenshots, exclusive video footage, community activities and the latest "Halo" news.

There's even a mess of new avatar wearables you can unlock by nailing achievements in your ODST training. And it's retroactive, too, so if you've done your drop into Mombassa, the new gear will be waiting for you. Oo-rah.

Yee-ha on a stick, Marines, but that excites even me! What? You maggots want to know more? Damn ignorant grunts... Well, thankfully, there is more, lucky for you sons of Grunts.

On sunday, command's gonna release the first of the Halo Legends animated episodes, The Babysitter, followed by a making of special. There'll be new episodes every week, too, with more specials to follow. Here's the schedule:

Well, I don't care if it's God's own personal anti-son-of-a-bitch machine, or a giant hoola hoop, we're not gonna let 'em have it! What we will let 'em have is a belly full of lead, and a pool of their own blood to drown in!

Am I RIGHT Marines??

I think the episodes will be a mixture of both - some of the production houses are trad anime, some more CGI. Can't wait to see Production IG's effort :)

This release needs more MC. Sure ODST's are interesting but Halo is all about the mean green power-armoured machine :P

There sure looks to be plenty of Master Chief in there. Using Big Power Suits, Flying Space combat and plenty of other different stuff we havn't seen him do. Maybe even a swimsuit shoot.... :)

Production IG did Ghost in the Shell:SAC. They do an amazing job, very very well done. Its mainly tradional anime with some CGI that's cell shaded so it doesn't look out of place. Very tasteful.
They're gonna make the Master Chief look all pretty like :D GLEE!
