CES 2010: Movies, processors and plenty of new tech.
Intel's R&D team are never left alone for too long it seems, with new products and technologies pouring out of the big blue doors at a frightening pace.
Keeping to their own Tick-Tock schedule means that this year we're treated to a process shrink of the quite popular 45nm Nehalem chip, bringing in a new 32nm chip called Westmere to the scene.
While performance might not be as revolutionary as a new core architecture, it's still going to be faster than the current best.
Intel have squeezed the Westmere behind a touch-sensitive high-definition wall panel that can access the internet to provide an interactive and 3D representation of information, incredibly cool to see in action.
They also showed off how their processors help Dreamworks to get their movies done (with an impromptu visit from an ogre thrown in for good measure).
There's quite a lot to see, so jump into the gallery of pics to see more of Intel's stand, straight from CES 2010. Keep up with the latest news on Atomic's Facebook page!
