CES 2010: Some of the most interesting products at the Consumer Electronics Show.

The Consumer Electronics Show, more commonly known as CES, is the largest collection of everything electronic in the world; bringing together thousands of manufacturers across a large area and entwining them all into a giant complex mess of a show.

In that mess lie some diamonds in the rough, glittering examples of design brilliance and exemplary craftsmanship that set the standard for the competition over the next year, each chosen by a panel of judges in the industry.

These are displayed at CES in cabinets, but Atomic has chosen the most interesting products and assembled them in one place for quick viewing, and a good look at what the whole industry has been up to.

I want those glasses...and I want them NAO! Don't know what they would be used for exactly, but they pave they way for us finally having a HUD, maybe recording in First Person? imagine driving with them on, they could make ones that have live data feeds for the car's speed, upcoming traffic, GPS navigation, night vision the possibilities are endless...cant wait to see the technology in 5-10 years time...

I used some of the Vuzix 920 stereo glasses, but yeah the resolution was a bit of a let down, only 640x480, which sucked quite bad for Call of Duty, cause you can't make out anything.. let alone shoot something accurately.
when they do a decent rez, i'll probably get some.

The anywhere mouse is special?

Oh FFS, someone make a wireless trackball! You don't need any flat surface whatsoever to use one of those, you can even hold it above your head and make use of it. Pah, what a pointer input ignorant world we live in! Not impressed!

What the hell is with the South African Florist ad? And did they say "South Africa" enough times?
