Max Headroom is finally coming to DVD

One of the greatest SF shows ever is finally getting a proper release!

I pity people for whom the phrase 'Max Headroom' is merely a handy warning on carpark boomgates. But a revolution is coming - soon, the classic cyberpunk TV show from the late 80s will be getting a glorious release on DVD!

All 14 episodes (plus undisclosed extras), will be released this August, and it might even include the original film that inspired the series, 20 Minutes into the Future. Shout! Factory took care of the recent release of The Middleman, and they did that cult show good service - we have high hopes for this one too.

And for those who are ignorant... here's Max helping out Art of Noise on their track, Paranoimia.

Oh yeah... that's what we listened to in my day!

And can I get a big shout out to Amanda Pays, as Theora Jones - awesome and strong female character. Man, I had such a crush on her... in fact, I think she perfectly explains why to this day I have the hots for chick sys-admins :)
