Medal of Honor is looking like win

Video: Want explosions, gunfire, brutal knifings and creative bomb-disposal techniques? Medal of Honor has it all.

We've just gotten our mitts on the latest Medal of Honor trailer, and it's looking pretty awesome.

The upcoming reboot to the popular military shooter series is set in modern day Afghanistan, and this new look at the game shows off a lot of the features, like both regular army and special forces missions, some stunning action and stealth kills, and a hint of just how gritty the game's aiming to be.

So, we're pretty stoked.

(of course, we were stoked by Bad Company 2 pre-release, and look how that's turning out)

Ahem. So, enjoy the trailer, and pray that reality doesn't destroy our dreams!

Medal of Honor will be released sometime this Winter, for all major platforms.

That looks awesome. What Mw2 should have been. Hope it plays as good as it looks online.

Looks very impressive, lets hope it has a better launch than BF:BC2.

The MoH cover of Atomic made it look awesome.

Maybe a bit early to tell, but from what I saw, I also feel this will be another good game from EA this year, apart from BF BC2. Not to mention DICE and EALA are working together on this one. And this will be the 1st MOH that are not rated for Teen anymore.
It should come out by September but right now it's n/a for pre-order.

1. Why the constant hating on MW2? Its single player campaign was at least worth an 8/10. Perfect? No. But still very good. Issues with MP aside (mainly connected to connecting to servers and arguments from hackers about the new levels of control) it was overall a very solid 8/10. It is what it is.

2. I am extremely dissapointed by BF:BC2. I have attempted to return the game to JB-Hi Fi but they say no as it has been activatd on line once. Despite costing $89 (not a huge amount of money for me) it has left a very bad taste in my mouth. Next time I will go with my gut completely (as I usually do anyway) and NOT by a game that is a shameless console port, designed for consoles, and console players. Atomic has to bare some responsibility hear for the 'hype'. To be honest I have now completely lost faith in the reviewing process.

3. The game looks good in the trailers. I will not buy the game at all for at least 2 months now after launch in order that a) I can get an accurate picture of the games strengths and weaknesses b) the inevitable bugs are being ironed out.

Should be very interesting... Medal of Honor games always have that different 'feel' to them - they might not have the latest graphics or features (this one looks like it does!), but they always have that 'x' factor - good arcade/instant-action fun! Can't wait

18+! The Censorship dudes will not pass this. Unless we have an 18+ ratings for games that I haven't noticed yet or we get one by the release date. Maybe we'll get an Australian version carefully censored to shield us from possibly portrayals of reality. Reality could damage our fragile minds!
