The reboot of the classic shooter franchise will be in sweaty gamer hands this October.
We're expecting Medal of Honor to be pretty big. We've already seen some of the game, and spoken to the devs, and all indications are we're not going to be disappointed. We're also not disappointed to hear that we've finally got a date to look forward to.
EA's just announced Medal of Honor will release on all major platforms on the 14th of October this year.
"Medal of Honor is an authentic look into today's war. Inspired by real people and real events, the game puts players in the boots of today's warrior -- from the infantry ground pounder to the Tier 1 Operator," said Greg Goodrich, Executive Producer of Medal of Honor, in a release that went out today. "We are proud of this piece because it offers a glimpse into the game we're creating, while also showing the mindset of these warriors."
No word yet on any collectors' or special editions, but we're hoping for something pretty sweet - after all, EA's got to beat Modern Warfare 2's night vision goggles!
And don't forget to check out our full preview of the game, and our catch-up with some of the real-world operators EA has recruited to lend their expertise to the game.
