Red Dead Redemption co-op content gets a date

You and up to three outlaw pals can soon take on bandits and desperadoes in new co-operative missions for Red Dead Redemption.

Fans of the open world western Red Dead Redemption need to mark their calendars with a big red X for June 22. That's the date that the Outlaws to the End Co-op Mission Pack will be available for free download for both 360 and PS3.

The new pack includes six new co-op missions, co-op challenges, new multiplayer XP rewards and new achievements and trophies. The co-op missions are for up to four players, and boast a mess of gunplay and strategic challenges.

More co-op missions are in the pipe, too, so stay tuned. And check out the next issue of Atomic, onsale this Wednesday, for our full review of Red Dead Redemption!

Co-op on or offline? or both?

Really good game. Gonna be interesting to see how they implement co-op.

I think it's online - could be wrong, though.

Just got confirmation - it'll work online and in system link, but not in split-screen :)

I remember when Rockstar said they would keep releasing Co-op content for GTA4...

Why did you smile when you said "not in split-screen"?
This is a bad thing. Very bad.
I'm getting very sick of games only being multiplayer online or system link.
I don't know about you but I like to get a mate or two around and cooperatively blow enemies away (or whatever) and downing a few drinks and eating very unhealthy things. Instead of playing online with them, sometimes without speech cababilities, physically alone... so very alone... (and apparently it's not ok to drink in that situation)

It was just a random smiley because I was able to find out the answer reasonably easily... I think you guys need to start either drinking more or, I don't know, start drinking more.

As warranted by the comments above, i think i've already had enough to drink :P.
In relation to the things to ask at e3, while we're (sorta) on the topic, how about asking why consoles dont have more than 1 output? 3 screen console gaming anyone?
