All hail our Korean future in Homefront!

We get sent some cool promotional bits and pieces every now and then. This booklet from Kaos Studio's Homefront is one of them!

A lot of bumpf comes our way. If you're not familiar with the term, it's a catch-all for the strange varieties of marketing... stuff that tech vendors and games publishers send out to journos to get them hyped about a particular release. Sometimes it's simple, like a t-shirt or a hat, but other times... it deserves recognition in itself.

Like this, sent to us to promote Kaos Studio's upcoming game Homefront.

We got sent a package in the mail today that had us curious from the get go, as it was sent by a Comrade Jong from the Liberation Assistance Bureau in New York. It contained a little red book, a guide to the new America under Korean Federation rule.

And we love it. Check out our gallery of pics to see game promotion done right, and learn a little about Homefront's bleak occupied USA.

I like the attention to detail with reference to Kim Jong-Un as he's tipped to be Kim Jong-il's successor. That's one cool booklet..

Please copy most urgently comrade Hollingworth, I don't want to be caught without my most glorious red book of the new Juche Federation....what might befall me? beheading maybe? or just plain old firing squad?

Damn... I want a game where I can play a resistance fighter ~inside~ North Korea and end it with me giving the Dear Leader a boot party.

Smells like a real invasion to me… starts off with a simple package with a set of simple instructions, then the inevitable video game with imbedded visual stimulus propaganda, then further patches to fix up lack of scant clad females to induce coma and non thought… then BAM!!!!

You've got agree that is a marketing win. Now I'm off to work on my Korean, Australia always follows America's lead, unless we are following China's.
