If you didn't like the first 'Meet the Operators' Medal of Honor trailer, you should probably just move along now.

More serious men. More over-exposed shots of Afghan hillsides. More Medal of Honor.

We could talk about the trailer, but we think you guys know what's what by now - and let's be honest. You're just going to complain about it anyway.

Metasynaptic Jul 7, 2010 3:24 PM	Yeah, pretty much same complaints here. Nothing about gameplay, some gung ho cliches, and lots of live action footage that I seriously doubt will ever see gametime. Oh, and the first 25 seconds of the clip were exactly the same as the first one.

Metasynaptic Jul 7, 2010 3:35 PM	I lived in hope there was a juicy hint of something good... and on the second watch there was. The music. It was quite atmospheric. I suspect the guys that did it are the same guys they have doing the Command and Conquer music, which I have enjoyed on and off since before Generals.

Like it or not we wouldn't even have the opportunity to express our views if you Atomic guys didn't take the time to post it up. You guys do a good job of keeping us informed and interested in what's happening out there in game dev land. Keep up the good work :) btw I agree with Meta on this one though
sladeXS Jul 7, 2010 11:47 PM	sigh..this big budget crap we are being force fed is driving me nuts.. hype hype hype, buy buy buy, its just like mw2, we as a pc gaming community should have walked away from a game with no servers, and the shocking state of the bad company 2 server browser should have also made us turn away, but heres the thing, it doesn't. we soak it up, they could hype up a game were all we had was a white room in which to sit in, and we would buy it. I only hope the problems that plagued those other large releases are avoided here...but im not holding my breath
alex8337 Jul 8, 2010 12:10 AM	EA games just keep letting me down almost every time, from updates to the servers they list in Australia... C&C is the only EA game I cant complain about. Theres probably more but when you get so many dud's it just makes it feel like they all are, which meakes me avoid that company.
Hawkeye Jul 8, 2010 10:10 AM	I think Bad Company 23 is a pretty solid game now - it's server functionality overall sucked on release, but now... It almost deserves to be re-reviewed. It's a Hot Award-grade game now. As to MoH, I'm playing the beta, and it's looking really tight. Very different to both BC2 and MW2. And, to be honest, I really don't see what's wrong with these trailers. I mean... the game is about these people, so what's wrong with seeing them?

There's nothing wrong with seeing these guys and the live action footage, but it isn't actually telling me much about the product I will end up paying for. As I said, it could be about a DVD for all anybody would know.
Daz80 Jul 8, 2010 1:40 PM	I am going against the grain here, but i actually like these trailors. Its different to the normal fast screenshots that we're used to. Theres plenty of in-game footage around the net and with the Beta now available (with FREE keys) you can experience it first hand. I got mine 2 days ago and Im enjoying it. Im a big Andy MacNab fan though so maybe thats why this style appeals to me. @ Metasynaptic, you are not going to buy this game based on this trailor. The game wont be released for another 3 months. There will be more in-game footage to come, not to mention reviews that you will use to decide if this game is for you. Just sit back and enjoy the video footage. :)
