Good news, Mafia II fans!

The Mafia II demo gets a date, and we get details of the Deluxe Digital edition of the game available via Steam.

One last quick bit of Friday news for the Mafia II fans amongst us.

First up, the demo - it's coming on August 10 and will be your first chance to get peek at the game. It's for all major platforms, and we really recommend you have a look. We played the game at E3 and it's very solid.

However, if you're already looking to make purchase decisions, you'll want to know what's in the Digital Deluxe Edition. And we can tell you! It's available for pre-order now from all the hippest digital retailers, and contains the following:

Made Man Pack: Free access to in-game downloadable pack that lets you get behind the wheel of two different luxury automobiles. In addition, Vito will look the part with two new "made man" suits, including a vintage tux.

Digital Art Book: Players get to know Empire Bay with a photo album-style Digital Art Book that takes fans through the artistic design process of the game.

Orchestral Soundtrack: Immerse yourself in a symphonic masterpiece with the Mafia II score recorded by the Prague FILMHarmonic Orchestra.

Digital Map of Empire Bay: Get familiar with the neighborhoods and own the streets with the Digital Map depicting the 10 square miles of Empire Bay and all the hangout spots.

And a whole lot more. The full game releases on the 26th of August. Capiche?!

Hmm. Let me chat to the Beautiful Snez - if anyone who was at the Borderlands LAN at the office, I'm sure you'll remember her :)

Pity is costs $30USD more in the Aussie steam store than it does in the US steam store. $50USD is $50USD no matter where you are in the world!
