Where the heck is WhereIsPhantom? The popular commentary website on Infinium Labs and its console appears to have been shut down.

If you're looking for news on the latest shenanigans from Infinium Labs and its non-existent Phantom console, WhereIsPhantom website is the place to go.

Well, it was the place to go. It appears as of the start of April, the site is no more, the main page simply consisting of the three words that make up its namesake. Although the shell of the site remains, it contains no content.

Those who picked up on the site's closing consider it a somewhat premature action considering Infinium is still trading, and the promises of Phantom continue.

Whether the site came down as a result of dying interest, or legal threats from Infinium, is unknown at this time.

WhereIsPhantom provided up-to-date information regarding Infinium and its numerous suspicious dealings, including analysis of the company's SEC filings, coverage of the HardOCP and Infinium Labs legal proceedings (now resolved in HardOCP's favour) and the Phantom's appearance at the last CeBit event.

You can check out a somewhat optimistic account of how the Phantom console and its subscriber service will work -- if it is ever brought to market -- here.
