Video and Screens: New art and motion from the next Alice game from American McGee - Madness Returns.

Creepy, dark, and full of black humour and blacker action, American McGee's Alice: Madness returns has seen a touch more daylight at the Tokyo Games Show.

To whit, we've got a tantalising taste (does it make you small or big, is the question) in the shape new screens and scary art, and even a magical motion movie picture.

(trust me - this post reads a lot better if you imagine Johnny Depp reading it. We're thinking his turn as the Hatter, but really, just imagine any Depp character.)

(actually, scratch that - imagine Depp's Hunter S. Thompson reading it. Yes)

So, look at the pictures. Watch the trailer thing. And get me more ether.

Alice: Madness Returns is out around the end of next year.

looks like the graphics in general still have a way to go before this thing is properly realised but I'm very interested. Can I call GOTY for nextx year already?

I much preferred the first teaser trailer that was released a couple of months ago, but the more I see of this game the more I want.

Enjoyed the little I played of the first Alice game.

The graphics really need improving, if it's released like that then I'll wait till its $40 six months after release but if its eye catching and just as good as the first I'll be happy to pay a hundred.

Looks interesting. Sad thing is I have the first game and still haven't got around to playing it.
