Event: Still tossing up whether or not to attend our upcoming Atomic Unlocked events? Maybe the prizes on offer will whet your appetite.

Atomic's about to unleash it's Unlocked tour on unsuspecting crowds of Atomicans in Sydney and Melbourne (see what we did thar?). We're bring the best of computing to you, with leaders in the fields of hardware, entertainment, and gaming coming to share their views, latest gear, and industry insights.

But, to get folks even more excited, there's going to be a mess of prizes to keep things interesting!

Intel, of course, is going to bring along a few spare K-series processors that speaker, Graham Tucker's got floating about. Kingston, who are also sponsoring the show, have even more gear to giveaway - so much more that we need a list! They've got:

  • Two 16GB DT Locker USB sticks
  • One 128GB SSD V+ desktop kit
  • One 64GB SSD V notebook kit
  • and two 4GB kits of 2000MHz HyperX RAM!

Neato.

Not to be outdone, our entertainment partner, AverMedia, is giving away a 2D to 3D HD capture card. All up, we're looking at over $1,000 in gear, that I simply cannot wait to giveaway.

But you don't get the loot if you don't show up. So you know what to do, if you haven't done it already... SIGN UP!

I'll be there if you go to Brisbane too.
I think I'll sit close to the front instead of on the back row next time. Hopefully I'll win more than just a shirt that was too small... :)

Intel K series consists of the $342 2.93GHz Core i7-875K and the $216 3.2GHz Core i5-655K. http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-20006262-1.html
That report was from last May though, so I don't know if there are any more out. You could always check the Intel website.
