Video: At last, Deadspace 2 will let you play a mutant-baby-headed monster from beyond the dark of space... wait, whut?!
We really liked the third-person horror shooter Deadspace. It's combo of hard SF and a terrible and ancient threat to humanity was both respectful of the great sci-fi whose shoulders it stood upon, and also delivered some great action.
Not to mention the odd pants-browning moment of sheer gibbering terror.
Now, in Deadspace 2, you'll be able to share the brown with your mates. The game's going to feature a multiplayer mode, and this video shows it off for the first time. So far, it looks more than a little like the classic Left 4 Dead - not necessarily a bad thing, but it's an interesting insight into the way the game's going to play online.
Deadspace 2 comes out in January 2011 on all major platforms.
