Force Unleashed II demo goes live!

Xbox fans can access the Star Wars: Force Unleashed II demo today! Second class PlayStation owners must wait in line 'til tomorrow...

Fancy getting your force and lightsaber action on? Today, if you're an Xbox owner, is your lucky day - the demo for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II demo goes live today. PlayStation owners get the same demo tomorrow.

Sorry guys.

The new game continues the saga of Starkiller, Darth Vader's erstwhile apprentice. Now, he's an unlikely hero, searching for his lover, Juno Eclipse, and avoiding the pursuit of his old Master. The Force Unleashed II features a new dual-wielding ability, lots of famous Star Wars locations, and a mess of new enemies to slice, dice, and cauterise.

And while you're waiting for the download... check out the new gameplay trailer.

Hmm... mass Force-related destruction... *drools* . The Force Unleashed II is available on the October the 27th on all major platforms.

Lets hope the port to PC / PC version is better than the original Force Unleashed. It was pretty bad, to say the least.

I agree Electro the port was bad. @swalden the PC has xbox controller support, thats how i have been playing it. Man they make good trailers!!

I'm sure it at least looked better than the wii version. some of the nastiest fps graphics i've seen on a console. >.<

true, but my pc also doesn't have a surround sound system, or couch for that matter.

the motion controls we kinda cool, and there was a light saber duel mode that was Wii only. just hard to get past the wanting to rip your eyes out over the nasty graphics.

I just hope the gameplay isn't as boring and repetitive as SW:TFU1

MMMM Starwars goodness. I just got the PS3 Move, I wonder if this title will support it? and if so the Move will definitley show up the wii owners.

If you haven't tried it, try it first before commenting. :) (yes its the best out there at the moment)

Electro: By the sounds of it the PC version was developed at the same time so hopefully should be designed with keyboard and mouse support from the get go rather then that crappy port they did from number 1.

see beautifully rendered starwars games makes me wish could see the movies just the way they are but with amazing CGI!

Agreed; games like this are designed for consoles, tho the original PC 'Jedi Night' games where some of the best games I've ever played and played multiple times, why didn't they jus upgrade those titles instead of starting from scratch again, the force unleashed was an on rails, dry and boring and mediocre game to say the least.

Should have been called the ‘bore unleashed’.

Companies are milking the trickle releases these days, maybe after the 5th title we might find something remotely worth while.

Yeah, I just finised playing it. I started off with a keyboard, but after the first level I had to borrow my mates Xbox controller. It was a lot easier after that. However there were a few gripes: the targeting system didn't work very well and the sound dropped out on a few levels, just to name a few. I guess we're all hoping for something a lot better.
