Atomic's Medal of Honor launch event went off!

Video: Many Atomicans came, some Atomicans walked away triumphant. One or two walked away wondering how they killed their entire Spec-ops team... Medal of Honor rocked at Atomic HQ.

Last week's Medal of Honor launch event was a hoot, despite a few multiplayer-related hiccups. You know, like the fact that we found out the game didn't support LAN play mere days before the event...

But we're clever and dedicated clogs here at Atomic, so played far enough into the singleplayer to find a suitable level for a timed run. In the end, everyone got their chance to take on the Taliban defending Bagram Airfield, and three lucky Atomicans walked away with the top spots for some serious quick fragging.

Here's the stats:

T Murray - 7.25 minutes
A Daniels - 8.50 minutes
A McDougall - 9.23

We felt compelled to show that Atomic was on the boil, so we did timed run as well, coming in with a pleasing nine minutes 11 seconds. Not bad!

We also handed out a special fourth prize to one of the two Atomicans to somehow lose their entire three-man back-up. Impressive work!

Anyway, it was fun for all, and just to show how much fun, check out our event vid!

Medal of Honor's out now. Check out our first impressions of the game here, and keep an eye out for issue 119 for our full review.

We were in Brisbane earlier in the year, and will definitely be back. We tend to do a 12-month cycle on these things :)

Single player was probably the best way as multiplayer is all about who can spawn camp the most

Hey hey! Stop picking on the poor bastards who killed off their team. I have...ah I mean I'm sure they have feeling you know >:(
Stupid single player - I scored a couple of 5:7 K:D ratios on the multiplayer beta :)
