Video: Discover the story of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and the villain behind it!

We wax lyrical about the multiplayer side of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood in this month's issue, on sale now, but the new trailer for the game shows off a bit more of the game's singleplayer storyline. More accurately, it gives you a good idea of the villain you'll be going up against.

One Cesare Borgia.

He's a particularly confident villain - he controls Rome, an army, and has faced down many who would usurp him. He narrates this new trailer himself, and he's shaping up as an interesting adversary.

Of course, he's never faced a fully trained assassin before...

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is out November on console, and next year on PC.

Opy Oct 19, 2010 3:21 PM	Love the dramatic feel of this trailer. But still trying to get my mind off the undead cheerleaders in the BloodBowl trailer. Skeletor in a mini skirt really does it for me.

What's even shit about how they wrecked Assassin's Creed was how they made the player into a thug rather than an Assassin, dumbed down the combat and controls, doesn't even have the same feel. And other dumb shit, like disappearing into a "crowd" of 4 people with your bright red cape on and not even looking or acting the same as the others, but strutting like a douche. At least in number 1 you looked like a god damn monk when blending in.. Game play totally fux0red in Assassin's Creed II, if it wasn't for number 1 sucking me in and having to continue the story, then I would have frisbee'd that pos. Glad I paid for #1, glad I didn't pay for #2.
