Gallery: As the hot upcoming MMO World of Tanks celebrates 500,000 users even before release, we get a mess of new screens.
World of Tanks is causing quite an impact amongst Atomicans - there's an ongoing thread on the forums full of reports of ambushes, tank duals, and awesome warstories. So it's no surprise that the game, in full release in Russia and closed beta elswhere, has just hit the 500,000 user milestone.
Not bad for a free-to-play MMO based on World War 2 tank combat!
“It’s just the beginning of a global legend,” said Victor Kislyi, CEO of developer Wargaming.net. “We see this game running for at least ten years in the West and Asia with tons of new content coming out every month.”
