Homefront multiplayer - something to look forward to

Video: The latest Homefront developer diary unveils the Ground War mode, drone warfare, and the very interesting in-game economy...

The developers of upcoming FPS Homefront, Kaos Studios, know large scale vehicle warfare. They put together one of our faves of recent years, the under-rated Frontlines: Fuel of War, and it was an awesome take on vehicular future warfare.

But Homefront's multiplayer is looking set to blow Frontlines - and every other military FPS - away.

This new trailer goes a long way toward making us want to crawl into a cave and hibernate until the game releases next year. Not only is the game looking great, but the game modes and mechanics are sounding awesome. On top of that, there's the hint that the PC version will not only have dedicated servers, but also just might have 32+ player maps.

Oh. Yes. Anyway, watch for yourself.

Homefront releases next March on all major platforms.

Sounds a little similar to BFBC 2. Capture an objective, have a tank/move the game map forward.
