Dead Space 2: Horror and Action

Video: Check out the latest dev diary trailer for the horrific sequel, Deadspace 2. Can you stand the horror... AND the action?

We kinda dug Dead Space. For one thing, it's one of the few original IPs that

I think the devs like classic SF.

In this latest trailer for the upcoming Dead Space 2, we get a brief glimpse into how the artistic and level design is driving the horror experience of the game this time round. From the pacing of the battles to the design of the horrors assailing you, everything is part of the Dead Space story.

Dead Space 2 is out on all major platforms next month.

Dead Space... Horror?

When do these two come in touch, ever?
srsly, its so predictable when the monsters go "BOO!" and pop up.

I loved the first game, by far the best horror gaming experience I've had in a good while.

And the next one is looking the goods. Though very much, more of the same. Fingers crossed they come up with some cool ways to freshen up the gameplay.

It is a horror game, because if you play this game in darness on your 52" screen with your 5.1 surround theatre setup on high, you have a high chance of weeing your pants.

You might know when the monsters are gonna go BOO, but you don't know from where or which ones or which tactic to use until its too late and you lose your head or limbs and die.
