We're not really fans of the whole motion gaming fad, but this ballistic Move accessory gets us close to being on board.
Motion gaming, as typified by the Move and Kinect accessories for Sony's and Microsoft's flagship consoles respectively, is kind of like the console equivalent of the 3D fad that's sweeping Hollywood. In other words, while it seems like a great idea on paper, poor implementations and even poorer game releases are generally holding the entire idea back.
Not to mention that we'll be dead in the ground before we'll be caught flailing at our TVs like a drunken fool in search of more beer.
However, this sexy little accessory for the PlayStation Move is, well... awesome.
The Sharpshooter houses both portions of the Move controller in an SMG-like configuration, while also featuring a pump action foregrip, firing mode selector, and an adjustable stock. It's what we'd imagine an Apple-designed Heckler & Koch firearm might look like.
The unit costs $US39.99, and will be compatible and Deadspace: Extraction and Killzone 3.
