The darkness of infinite space. The unquiet dead. Flesh moulded into new and unnatural shapes.
Such things are the stuff of horror – and Dead Space 2.
We think EA’s got a pretty good handle on what makes horror tick – certainly, Dead Space might have caused a few chair dampening moments. But we’re curious to see if you’ve got the same stuff, and we want to make it worth your while.
So here’s the deal; EA’s been generous enough to give us ten download codes for Dead Space 2, and we want you to flex your writing muscles to get them. Submit to us your take on Dead Space horror, a story fit to scare the hardiest of space farers and make grown men sleep with a comfort light on. The length is up to you, but only the scariest, best written and most lore-appropriate entries will be in with a chance.
And, what’s more, if you do win we’ll publish your piece on Atomic’s site. So get thinking, get creating, and get to scaring the pants off our panel of quivering judges! Once written, email your writing to me; and may the best scares win! Write to whatever length you feel comfortable.
