Latest F3AR trailer shows off co-op features

Video: Discover the divergent co-operative gameplay for F3AR, as well as the developer with the deepest voice we've ever heard.

Let's get this out of the way now - we hate F3AR as name. Sure, it's officially F.E.A.R. 3, but that's equally bad to type - it took us three goes just then.

So we're simply going to call it Fear 3 and be done with it. There.

Anyhoo, there's this new Fear 3 video that does a good job of showing off the game's Divergent Co-op feature. When you play in co-operative mode, you'll be able to take on the roll of Point Man or his brother Paxton Fettel - both protagonists bring very different skills and powers to the table. But, more interestingly, there'll be portions of the game where the two can split up and take different paths to the objective.

Also in this video is a developer with the deepest voice we've ever heard. Seriously, we thought it was some kind of audio effect. Just so you know.

Fear 3 is out on all major platforms in May this year.
