Can't wait for Portal 2? Neither can the folks at new distribution service Desura, and they've picked the six best Portal 1 mods to tide you over.
Every time we see a little more of Portal 2 - and we've probably, all up, seen about ten minutes of MINDBENDING gameplay so far - we die a little inside. We die because our spatially challenged brain is already crying tears of blood at the thought of such fiendish complexity; we cry because it looks so damn good; we die, because it's just not plain out yet.
But we're not alone. The guys over at the new, mod-focused PC gaming distribution service Desura (which we covered here) share our pain. They want Portal 2 as much as we do. And, to tide them and us over until the big day, they've compiled a list of the six best Portal mods.
And, of course, you can download and manage them right from the Desura service.
Included in Desura's top six are Portal Prelude, Portal: Project Beta, Factum Solus, Portal Pro, Blue Portals: UP and Aperture Deja Vu.
This is a triumph.
