Gallery: We've got new pics from Dungeon Siege III, plus a release date and details on what extras the special edition will feature.

We love a good hack and slash fantasy RPG, and the upcoming Dungeon Siege III is looking to fill that niche quite nicely. We saw some of the game at E3 last year, and it was looking good even then. Now that we have a release date - the 26th of May 2011 - we've got a good solid buzz for this co-op empowered RPG.

We also have details on a special edition that'll feature four neat little items that'll boost your performance from day one of the game. These are unique magic rings and amulets that will only be released in PAL regions - take that, NTSC losers!

And, finally, we've got six new screens from the game showing off the fantasy action. And while we're talking Dungeon Siege, we can't resist showing the trailer for the Uwe Boll catastrophe, In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. Enjoy!

This movie looks promising, though not my favourite hero actor.

And the game looks ok too.

Tyno the movie was out about 3 years ago and it is the most terrible movie you'll watch, seriously you'll try to gouge your eyes out

~reads the DS3 website~ .. we have to choose a character and play as them now? And co-op is restricted to one each of the four classes? .. Lame. Bring back the old way of creating the classes.
