New trailer reveals Deus Ex: Human Revolution's Adam Jensen

Video: Discover a little bit about what makes Deus Ex's Adam Jensen tick, in this new trailer for the massive prequel.

You know it's going to be a hell of a year in gaming when pretty much every new trailer and collection of images, for just about any game, makes you drool. We're loving the look of Homefront, the dark fantasy of Dungeon Siege, and maybe even a little thrilled about Bulletstorm - but all these games pale compared to the chills we get every time we watch a new trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

This is a game that has instant classic written all over it.

The character design, voice work, the graphics and overall polish and setting of the game looks stunning and... oh hell, let's just roll tape, shall we?

The game is slated for all major platforms this April. Bring it.

I really don't know. I sort of agree with a past PCPP article that indicated that Deus Ex's initial success was related to its immersion of being strictly first person and the atmosphere and environment that was created around the player. Most of which number 2 did not have, forget the universal ammo and whatnot that was really a non issue.

Everything I've seen of this game doesn't give off that same atomosphere and it also seems to break the immersion factor with a lot of cutscenes and 3rd person segments.

I certainly hope it isn't a cinematic movie with some game play elements. That does not sound Deus Ex to me. Very cautious about this game but we'll see what happens when it arrives.
