Fallout: New Vegas DLC comes to PS3 and PC

Non-Xbox gamers finally get to catch up with Dead Money. But that’s not all the good news coming out of Bethesda ...

When we first mentioned Dead Money, the first DLC for Fallout: New Vegas, late last year, you folks were – understandably – very quick to jump up and down and express your displeasure over the fact that it was only coming to Xbox. Well, it looks like the nice folks over at Bethesda have been listening, and today they’ve announced that in just two short weeks, PS3 and PC users will be able to get in on the fun.

That’s right: Dead Money will be released via PSN (for PS3) and Steam and Direct 2 Drive (for PC) on Tuesday, February 22nd.

But that’s not all!

We don’t have many details at the moment, but Bethesda tell us that they will be releasing three more add-on packs for Fallout: New Vegas over the next few months. And the best bit? Unlike Dead Money, they will be launching simultaneously on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. For once (or thrice), no-one will be getting left behind. Not even the PC gamers.

And in our books, that's a total win!

lol, +1 jdog, im also waiting till the GOTY edition to come out, so i can see what all the fuss is about, not paying extra for DLC, they aren't worth the asking price individually in my books.

Well, better late than never I guess.

Even though I've got the Collectors Edition (PC) already, I'll probably wait and get the GOTY edition when it comes out. Still better value than buying each of the DLC packs.

You could always ask a certain "uncle" for the DLC if you're a tight arse.

Apparently Dead Money wasn't all that great, according to Gamespot, they gave it a 6.5

The Fallout DLC's tend to be a little hit and miss. Some brilliant and some meh. Point lookout and The Pit were great, as was Broken Steel. But Operation Anchorage and Mothership Zeta where painfull. Motherhip Zeta was buggy as fk. I kept at in to see it through, but was not real injoyable. Good reason to wait for the GOTY edition this time round I think.
