Zotac's announces the GTX 560 Ti AMP! Edition

Zotac's latest AMP! edition card brings the boosted clocks, along with lots of exciting capital letters and superfluous grammar!

We've just had news of Zotac's next overclocked AMP! edition card cross our desk, and since we're waiting for some other stuff to download, it seems as good a news item as any to kick off the day with!

We're talking about the GeForce GTX 560 Ti AMP! Edition - hyperbolic, yes, but also factory overclocked to deliver as much performance as it can without becoming a molten pile of slag in your cherished rig. So what're the numbers?

  • New ZOTAC GeForce GTX 560 Ti AMP! Edition graphics card
  • Engine clock: 950 MHz
  • 384 unified shaders
  • Shader clock: 1900 MHz
  • 1GB DDR5 memory
  • 256-bit memory interface
  • Memory clock: 4400 MHz
  • Dual dual-link DVI-I & mini-HDMI 1.4a outputs
  • PCI Express 2.0 interface (Compatible with 1.1)
  • Microsoft DirectX 11 & OpenGL 4.1 compatible
  • NVIDIA CUDA, 3D Vision Surround & SLI ready
  • ZOTAC Boost Premium software bundle included
  • Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood download voucher bundled

Okay - good numbers! And it's nice to see someone bundling a new and relatively decent game. Which reminds us - must install Brotherhood tonight!

We're still waiting on local pricing, but we have requested a review sample - keep an eye out in the next few issues.

Ahh 'Ti' is being utilized again. I remember buying a Geforce 4 Ti 4600 just so I could play MOHAA maxed out!
Had some awesome lan parties whilst I had that card... Good times, Good times :-P
