Hot on the heels of yesterdays Balls of Steel edition announcement, 2K have some more news on DNF’s upcoming release.
So it looks like it’s really happening this time, because as of today, retailers are taking pre-orders for Duke’s May release. Incentive packages vary, but we’ve got a quick guide to what you can expect to get if you pony up early.
Go through Game, and you’ll get a bonus speaking keyring, which you can use to annoy friends and relatives at least until the battery runs out.
JB Hi-Fi tops off your Duke Nukem package with a baseball cap. Not just any old baseball cap, however – this one has a real, functional bottle opener in the peak.
But as much as we kinda hate to say it, the best pre-order deal – unless you really fancy the bottle-opener cap – comes from EB Games, who are offering something they’re calling Duke’s Big Package. Duke’s Big Package includes a t-shirt, and unlocks an in-game EGO boost and Big Head Mode. It also gives you membership to the First Access Club, which is basically access to a consumer demo before anyone else gets it. Sweet.
The free loot is yours whether you go the standard or Balls of Steel editions, so if you’re keen (and like free loot), now might just be the time…
