Friday, er... Monday Linky Fun

We’re hoping you’re all recovered from our 10th Birthday celebrations last week, and all ready for linky time!

(oops... guess what Editor forgot to approve this on Friday...)

First up, for anyone who hasn’t heard, we have a new Wonder Woman, and she’s fresh from possibly one too many CW shows (or non-shows, in the case of the failed Aquaman experiment) for us to be too thrilled. But ignore us: this is what the original Wonder Woman has to say.

Could Terminator 5 ever happen? This story suggests maybe. Of course, by the middle of next week, that could be right back to a no, but for now, we’ll keep an open mind. In other will-it-or-won’t-it news, Woody Harrelson seems pretty sure that Zombieland 2 is a no-go, because everyone else in it is super-famous now. Damn.

And, of course, there are the projects that probably are happening. We don’t know about Pinnochio, as a general concept for a movie, but we do know that Guillermo Del Toro cannot help but bring the creepy but pretty vibe to anything he touches, so this could be interesting. And Michel Gondry is reportedly adapting Philip K Dick’s Ubik for the big screen. We’re hoping it’s more Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind than Green Hornet, and just a touch closer to Bladerunner than *shudder* Paycheck.

And speaking of Philip K Dick – and because it’s a Friday – this is the recently released trailer for The Adjustment Bureau, Matt Damon’s latest sci-fi thriller outing. So long as it’s Damon and not Affleck, we’re remaining hopeful.

Whedonites should keep an eye on the upcoming Warner Bros web series Mortal Kombat, which will be directed by Kevin Tancharoen (better known as Joss’s brother-in-law), and will feature one Tahmoh Penikett – of BSG and Dollhouse and general fame –  in some unconfirmed capacity.

Looking for someone to sort the wheat from the chaff for you in terms of PC Games, listicles and pretty much everything ever? Then check out Rock, Paper, Shotgun’s Very Important List of PC Games. It’s not *quite* finished, at the time of going to print (as it were) but we’d expect the fifth and final (and probably most important) part to pop up sometime in the next day or so. Win!

Finally, anyone keeping up with Star Wars: The Clone Wars should be keeping an eye out for an old friend popping up in this season's 2-part finale. Two old friends, even, one rather hairy …
