A few years ago, I ran a tabletop Lord of the Rings roleplaying game. With the movies in full swing, it seemed the perfect chance to spend some intimate time inside arguably the most popular and well-known fantasy setting in the world.

And a good chance to roll some dice with friends, while sharing that wonderful sense of adventure that Tolkien crafted so lovingly.

It's a feeling we're kind of hoping that War in the North, the new Lord of the Rings game from Warner Bros Interactive, will deliver with it's tightly focused three-player co-op gameplay. From this new trailer, we're certainly getting the sense the game's developers are very keen Tolkien fans...
