Video: Fancy some viking-style action in the cold wilds of the new Elder Scrolls game, Skyrim? This trailer's got you sorted.
Okay, first thing's first - while we do love (and I mean, LOVE) the new Skyrim trailer, Atomic feels it must provide an important service regarding horned helmets.
Yes, we know this is a fantasy game, so there's no need to waffle on about accuracy. We're not. It's about safety and practicality, people, and a horned helmet is a massive OHS issue waiting to happen. Whether those horns point down or up, they're dangerous, making it more likely that downward sword blow might catch your helmet and dangerously wrench your neck.
And neck injuries are bad.
What's more, those horns could get caught on underbrush, rigging, giant spider webs... anything! They're a hazard for all concerned, and Atomic would like to see them stamped out. Otherwise, ten out of ten, Bethesda. Tops trailer.
Skyrim is out November this year, for all major platforms.
