Good news for those looking forward to Homefront on PC - the servers have gone live. And that's not the only good news.
THQ announced today that, ahead of the game's March 17 release, dedicated servers for Homefront have gone live in Australia. What's more, we've also had confirmed that PC gamers will be able to set up their own dedicated servers as well, on top of being able to enjoy full LAN play.
"THQ and Kaos are committed to providing dedicated multiplayer servers around the world for both console and PC versions of Homefront," said Drew Como, Director of Infrastructure, in today's release. "Furthermore, the PC SKU will allow gamers to set up and host games on their own servers, a feature that has been slowly disappearing from the online space in recent years,"
The servers that have been set up today are hosted in Sydney and Brisbane, but we expect more servers will go live across the country one the game goes live later this month.
